Summary
- To search on hogaresparamayores.com, you do not need to give us your name, phone number or email.
- We do not sell your data or share it with social networks or advertising platforms.
- We do not use advertising pixels or record sessions.
- We would only send your data to a provider if you expressly authorize it, naming each one.
What data we process
- When you browse (our own analytics): pages viewed, clicks on contact buttons (for example, “Call” or “Facility’s WhatsApp”) and where on the page they were, searches within the site, time and scrolling on the page, screen type, operating system and browser, loading speed and technical errors. We use a random session ID that is deleted when you close your browser and a visitor code calculated from your IP address and your browser, mixed with a key that changes every day and is then discarded: it does not let us know who you are or follow you from one day to the next. We do not store your IP address: we only use it at that moment to estimate your approximate city, state and network (with the free DB-IP Lite database, “IP Geolocation by DB-IP,” CC BY 4.0 license) and to filter out bots. We do not use tracking cookies.
- In the guided search: your answers (type of help, area, level of help your family member needs, coverage and urgency) and a query code. We do not ask for information that identifies you.
- Near me: your location is used only in your browser and is not transmitted.
- Contact and portal forms: the information you type, so we can reply to you.
Consumer health data
Answers about how much help your family member needs may be considered consumer health data under laws such as Washington’s My Health My Data Act or Nevada’s SB 370. We use them only to show you options; we do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them and we do not share them with third parties. You can ask us for access or deletion at any time.
Who we share data with
With technical vendors that provide services to us (website hosting), under contract and only for that purpose. With a care provider, only if you authorize it with an unchecked box that names that provider. With authorities, if the law requires it.
Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics 4 (from Google LLC) for aggregate statistics on visits and on clicks on contact buttons. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and we configure it without advertising signals. It loads after you interact with the page and does not load if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal; you can also block it with any content blocker. Artificial intelligence
Today, the hogaresparamayores.com guided search works with fixed rules and public data; it does not chat or use generative artificial intelligence. If in the future we offer an assistant that chats by message, it will always present itself as an automated assistant, and you will be able to ask to talk to a person at any time.
How long we keep it
Browsing statistics (our own analytics and technical server logs): up to 13 months. Guided search queries (without personal data): up to 18 months. Contact and portal data: for as long as the relationship lasts and up to 24 months after, unless the law requires otherwise.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, withdraw your consent and appeal our response. Use the contact form or write to info@hogaresparamayores.com; we respond within 45 days. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
Security
The entire site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Portal access links are stored encrypted with a cryptographic hash (not in plain text), and every action is recorded in a log with integrity checks.
Minors
This site is intended for adults.
